Does anybody know where I can get Tahitian vanilla in the UK? I really like the Nielsen Massey extract despite the currently excruciating price; I only use it for very special recipes. Last time I was in Paris, I picked up some vanilla beans from Tahiti, but most vanilla beans sold online in Britain don't come with a clear geographical source, and a lot appeared to be from Papua New Guinea – said to be similar, but obviously a budget substitute! I know this sounds like a very first world question – I really do only use this in a few dishes, but it's super yummy in proper custard. Thanks in advance.
