Hello, would it be possible to include a way to add magazines other than individually, eg from 'date' to 'date' or 'from now' for ongoing subscriptions.

Would also love a quick view in the forum linking to my posts so I can find them again :)

Hello Zoe - Fiona posted on another Forum topic about how to add magazines quickly.  Though we do also plan to add a feature that would allow you to add all issues of a magazine plus every new issue automatically as it is indexed.

As part of our development of social networking on the site you will be able to see all your Forum posts plus all your book and recipe comments, as well as viewing those of other members you want to friend.  It is our next big project after we finish member indexing.

Hi Jane/Fiona: On a tangent, and maybe way far off where you'd ever want to take EYB, but as I was entering my Cook's Illustrated magazines, I found several instances where I had duplicate copies of a single month and also instances where I was missing an issue. I'd happily send my duplicates to anyone who needed them to complete a collection, and would love to be able to post a request for missing issues, but there'd need to be some kind of offer/swap/trade forum to be able to do that. And I can imagine why you might not want to do that, but thought I'd raise the possibility just in case it's viable. Laurie

Having some kind of book swap feature on EYB is something in our long term plans.  It will be nice to one day get to the stage when we can add those sort of features.  We feel like we now have the basic site functioning very well, so we are now working on the enhancements like member indexing and social networking.  Then longer term we have the "glitzy" add-ons like a glossary of ingredients and a book swap feature.
