Can folks please recommend a wonderful Syrian Cookbook. It is a cuisine that i know very little about and want to learn. Your thoughts and suggestions appreciated.
If you want to learn from the cuisine and although not a pretty book it's full of information, I recommend Sonia Uvezian's Recipes and Remembrances from an Eastern Mediterranean Kitchen. I really loved and found very appealing Aromas of Aleppo: The Legendary Cuisine of Syrian Jews. I found these two, very good in number of recipes and informative but not pretty at all. For prettiness and pleasure go to Saha by Greg Malouf. I adore everything he does in terms of books. I can recommend all of them.
Let me know if you find others, I am also interested in the topic. :-))
Thank you Obsessedwithcookbooks
I am very familiar with Malouf's cookbooks and agree that they are fantastic. Thank you for the other two recommendations too. I will check them out.
