I was excited by the ability to make a note of good blog recipes [Life got in the way, and I haven't done it yet]. However, I don't want to delve in depth (or search by ingredients) in a recipe that looks good online. Mostly I just want to make a note.."Oooh, that looks good". I'd like to remember something and where I found it so I can browse around my "maybe-good-ones" and sift out the best at a later date.
When I browse my real cookbooks, I often note certain recipes in an indexed book and highlight that recipe in my EYB bookshelf with my own bookmark, "Potential". Again, this is not the hard-core route to a good idea/recipe, but just a computer "Post It note", suggesting further investigation in the future.
Yes, my system would not make good potentials from online recipes available to other EYB users, but then I would prefer to save the sharing capabilities for those items which I have spent more time on, maybe even cooked. I have found some really great things following other online/indexed recipes from EYB members. But I would also appreciate a quickie way to remember something I found while decompressing from work at 11PM, laptop and cocktail on the coffee table while I sit on the floor surrounded by dogs and cats. A button saying "Potential" or "Check Later" would be a wonderful feature.
