So, some feedback on the magazine import features:

The magazine bulk add is really cool.  BUT ... you wouldn't find it by accident.  I spent 20 min looking for a magazine bulk add feature, and didn't realize there was one before I clicked on a single magazine and it offered me the opportunity to add a whole date range of issues!  Once I got to that part, it was really cool and worked very well, but you should make the feature more obvious somehow.

Second the Cook's Illustrated "Special Issues" have been included with the regular subscription.  The thing is, these special issues were not included with regular subscriptions, and are only available for individual purchase.  Maybe you should make Cook's Illustrated Special Issue as separate "magazine" from regular CI.

Thanks, keep up the good work!  EYB is spectacularly useful.

We agree that the Special Issues shouldn't be part of the Cooks Illustrated Magazines collection - we'll get them separated out.

I know a lot of people don't like Help files - but you will find instructions on just about everything in the Help/How To files - just click on Help in the top right hand corner.   There is a detailed explanation on How to Add Magazines to your Bookshelf - I just changed it to plural.    It's under the heading "Magazine, Blogs and Online Recipes".   I would strongly recommend all members scroll through this Help section occasionally as you will probably find features that you weren't aware of.

Making the many features of EYB accessible and usable is something we are constantly reviewing - so thanks for your feedback.

Is it possible to add special magazine issues not in the library? I have many special issues of Fine Cooking in particular, and some others...

We will certainly look at adding the Fine Cooking Specials.  The magazines are on a lot of Bookshelves so I imagine the Specials will be too.

Thanks, Jane! That would be great, there are lots of them. There are special issues for Cooks Illustrated & Cooking Light that you should look at adding as well....

Ooh, that's excellent news, I would love to have Fine Cooking Specials indexed...I have quite a few of them from the past few years.

Robinorig - we have indexed all the Cook's Illustrated Specials.  There are 67 listed now and if they aren't all up yet then they soon will be.  They are listed under Magazines.  We had a debate about this as they do have ISBN numbers so could be listed as books but we felt they had more of a magazine feel.

That's great, Jane, will check them out!
