I'd really like to give my daughter a membership to EYB--she has many, many cookbooks in a number of places around the house!  Will there be a way to do that someday?

We don't have a formal gift procedure yet but we have had a lot of people who have given memberships as gifts.  You can sign the person up using your own email address (if you don't want them to get the confirmation emails) and we can change the email to the recipient once you have told them about the gift.  Just let us know what email you want to change the membership to.  Or if it's not a surprise then sign them up using their own email.

We will add a gift voucher system as soon as we can (definitely before Christmas).

Okay, I want to buy memberships for both myself and my daughter, but hers will be a birthday gift in July.  Can I pay for both using my primary e-mail address, then change one of them after she's received her birthday card, or should I use two different addresses at this time?

Delighted to hear both you and your daughter are joining.  As you already have a membership using your email address you will need to use a different email address to sign her up - there can only be one membership for each email address.  Once your daughter's birthday has arrived then just let me know at [email protected] what address to change it to.  She can also change her password be clicking Edit details on My Profile.
