Hi, I would love to be able to record that I've tried a particular recipe (and perhaps include quantity of ingredients used, any alterations and notes) and how it went.  That way later, I would be able to see whether a recipe is worth using again and compare other variations over time.

cheers

You can add personal Notes so that only you can see them.  Click Notes then when you have typed whatever you want, tick the box "Make this a personal note?".  If you have any comments that you think are of interest to other members, such as what worked or didn't work in a recipe, you can also add a general Note that will be shared.

You have a Notes tab on your Profile page (which you access from your username at top right) and you can there see all the Notes you have made in one place.

Also, you can create bookmarks to categorize recipes that you've cooked.  For example, I have a bookmark called 'Favorites' for the recipes that were really great; a bookmark called 'Avoid' for those that were awful and I don't want to repeat; and a bookmark called 'Reviews' for recipes that I've cooked and liked, but not enough to call it a favorite.
