I am in the process of reorganizing my cookbooks. I would love to be able to edit bookmark names and to delete bookmarks from my books right in the list of books (instead of having to click through to the book). Is this possible?

Not yet, but it is on our list of development work.
That's great news Jane. I've found that the more you use bookmarks, the more uses you find for them. So making them more flexible would be a real bonus.
