Have seen and absolute explosion in the number of cookbooks being reissued in the last year/18 months. Found out yesterday than another Diana Henry book is getting a new lick of paint whilst also seeing a reissue of Sabrina Ghayour's Persiana. Was wondering if this is a function of the pandemic where authors were unable to write so are reissuing to keep the money coming in? Also do people with the original buy the new version?
While I'm at it and a bit of a rant (sorry!) but why does Hardie Grant seem to so pathologically hate ebooks either they point blank refuse to issue them OR when they do it seems to be kicking & screaming and they come out with the worst most lazy possible versions ie Print Replicas. Wanted a copy of On Sundays by Dave Verheul but none of the eBook features are enabled ie page flip. Same goes for Beatrix Bakes another slice. If they were 99p maybe it would be understandable but they aren't. Grrrrrrr
