Hello - When looking at a specific book on my shelf, I'm trying to use the "search this book for recipes" feature, but when I do, the option to search by my tags (eg, "I've cooked this") disappears. Often I want to either recommend favorite recipes from a particular book to a friend, or grab a book I haven't cooked from in a while and see which recipes I've tagged but haven't yet made. How can I do this?

Hi Stephanie - I agree that isn't a good experience and it is something we want to address in the near future. Searches in the Library and My Bookshelf are different and really shouldn't be (historical anomolies from when the site was first built). To get around it, use the My Bookshelf recipe search using the book title in quotes and then you can apply all your bookmarks.

Hi Jane, I am really glad to hear it will be worked on. This is my *greatest* bugbear with the site. I am often going from book to recipe search, and copying over the search parameters is a real pain (to put it mildly :).
