When EYB posts online recipes from a book & you add, does it show up that you own the book   Go to last post Go to last unread

I have in the past few months after receiving the EYB newsletter,  bookmarked some of the online recipes.

At times I see a checkoff where I can add ALL of the recipes without singling out only a few of the recipes.

What I am concerned about is this:  If one downloads all of the online recipes that you EYB has given, say 24 out of 100 in a book, will it show up that one owns the book.   Or if you just download a few of that 24, will it show up that one owns the book.

I have spent time trying to decide why I have a certain book shown as I own, when I didn't think I did.  Looking at old receipts, looking on Amazon purchases, Amazon Kindle, etc. and can no where that I bought this book.  So, I just have to ask the procedure for a book showing up if one has downloaded all the recipes online that EYB books have provided.  Of course, negating that I checked it off by mistake that I owned :-))

Thanks so much.

Hi Rella -- Glad to hear you are enjoying our selections of online recipes from cookbooks! There isn't currently a way to add recipes to your Bookshelf in batches, only individually if there is an online link OR you can add the entire book to your Bookshelf when you are on the book's main page. So if I am understanding correctly, I think it is possible you may have accidentally added whole books to your Bookshelf at some point.

When you click on a link in the newsletter to view, for example "6 recipes from French Roots" you would then need to click the blue "+Bookshelf" button for each recipe you want to add to your Bookshelf. Adding individual recipes with online links from a cookbook does NOT add the whole book to your Bookshelf. But if you clicked on the link to the book's main page, there is a blue "+Bookshelf" button at the very top underneath the title which would add the book (with all its recipes) to your Bookshelf instead.

I certainly thank you for the time you took to answer.  I 'do' believe this is what happened, when I was looking at the online recipes which EYB had added.  I shall have to be careful about that.  Many thanks.
