Notes about this book

Got the book from the library and have already cooked a couple of recipes. They are quite fast but it always took me longer to prepare if I also count in the time for prep work I did the night before. Recipe notes (the book is in German, English recipe titles might vary slightly from my translation): Baked sweet potatoes and pumpkin: recipe doesn’t call for any salt but it definitely needs some, either in the sauce for the vegetables or in the yoghurt sauce (or, as we did, in both). Very easy but probably a one-timer. Crispy chili beef with broccoli: the cornflour on the meat turned soggy instead of crispy... but that was probably my fault, I think the pan wasn't hot enough when I put the meat in. Otherwise a tasty dish, although I thought it could use a little more sauce. Chicken with salsa and lemony couscous: the couscous is delicious! Instead of mango and coriander (don‘t like either) I used a nectarine and some mint for the salsa, which worked well.
