    This soup is a family favorite. A few changes I make: deglaze with white wine after browning the sausage and onions and I do not add the cream with the broth, but at the very end right before serving

• Grilled top sirloin steaks with herbed butter

    This is WAY too much spice for this amount of meat. It was so salty, it was inedible. If you make it, cut the spice mixture to 1/3 the suggested amount.

• Red cabbage pico de gallo salad

    I made this with green cabbage and the tomatoes on the side, very tangy and delicious, particularly topping tacos!

  ...the title sums up the book pretty completely. Divided into sections, the book is filled with recipe inspiration for everything from Christmas Morning to a Tween Birthday Bash.
