Did the Rabbit dish "Rabbit Maltagliati" on page 107. Used a left over half bottle of standard red that needed using up. Despite having (not my choice at all!) farmed rabbit it took nearly twice as long to cook to the required doneness than stated and used about twice as much liquid. Didn't have the required pasta.... who would?? so used pappardelle. I liked this dish alot, made a good Sunday evening supper. Recommended!

Publishers Text

Isaac Carew takes it back to the kitchen in The Dirty Dishes, his debut cookbook featuring the food that's inspired his life-long love of cooking.

Isaac's dad and godfather both worked in kitchens, so Isaac grew up washing mussels and leafy greens. He qualified as a chef in his teens and went on to work in some of the best restaurants in the world. Since then, via a high-profile modelling career, Isaac has nurtured his passion for great cooking and diverse food with the fashion capitals as his inspiration.

The Dirty Dishes returns Isaac to his first love with a fresh and modern collection of a hundred recipes: from lazy brunches to easy weekday suppers, and from vegan delights to late-night bites. He shares new takes on popular dishes such as Poached Salmon Nicoise and the more adventurous Tamarind Treacle Tart. Modern and bursting with flavour, the book reveals the secrets of Isaac's culinary training and gives you everything you need to get a bit messy and have fun in the kitchen.
