Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Miso caramel and chocolate tart

    • Ro_ on February 12, 2023

We saw the chef making this on Saturday Kitchen on TV, and I thought I'd give it a go. The best bit was the base (I took the chef at her word that any cereal would do, and used Frosties rather than bran flakes) which was delicious and crunchy. I found the miso caramel just way too salty: I think 1 tbsp of miso paste is too much and it should be a tsp or less. Even my partner who loves salted caramel a lot more than I do said it was too salty.
