Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Probiotic ranch

    • ethedens on November 07, 2023

Pretty good! Would probably make again.

  • Broccoli-sausage pasta

    • ethedens on November 14, 2023

Very good. Would definitely make again. Used Italian sausage and added a bit of orange zest. Only complaint is that the sauce didn't adhere to the pasta very well and it was hard to get bites with both the sausage and the pasta.

  • Pasta fazool

    • gamulholland on May 28, 2023

This is obviously my personal preference, but I’d leave out one of the two 28-oz cans of tomatoes next time— they drowned out the flavor of everything else. It tasted mostly like canned tomatoes. I’m going to give it another try with one can.

  • Krauty beans

    • gamulholland on May 28, 2023

Next time I will leave out the kraut liquid— too vinegary (and it didn’t actually have vinegar added to the kraut, but you get the idea.)

  • Vegan mapo tofu

    • ethedens on October 04, 2023

I don't know how accurate this is to the original, but it's an absolutely delicious dish worth making on its own

  • Sheet-pan miso roast chicken with vegetables

    • ethedens on November 19, 2023

To be fair, did chicken thighs instead of the whole chicken. Very salty. Missing contrast. There are definitely other chicken recipes I like better. Would not make again.
