Publishers Text

In the absence of proper nutrition education, many people with diabetes have come to believe things about the relationship between food and diabetes that are not true. 20 Myths of a Diabetic Diet addresses the most commonly held myths about food and diabetes, explains the origins of the misconceptions, and offers breakthrough methods for establishing a healthy, enjoyable diet.

Each chapter features a case example set as a dialogue between a patient and a dietitian, and includes tips on successfully addressing the dietary issue in question.
