This book is principally orientated towards the more ambitious cake decorator. However, its comprehensive easy-to-follow format will also attract the beginner. Following a short introduction, where she offers a few safe cake recipes, Sylvia Coward offers step-by-step instruction on the techniques used throughout the book. Part two takes the reader to the designs - more than 50 have been selected for this book, each allocated a double page spread including a full page shown close up in colour, detailing the particular design features used. The third part includes the various templates required for each design - all with comprehensive instructions.
