Southwest Desserts is a delicious assortment of dessert recipes Chef Pete has collected during his career as a chef. He has also included recipes from his childhood, old favorites made by the other great cooks in his family. Many of the recipes are traditional Mexican-American desserts updated and simplified. All the directions for each recipe are written in numerical order, making it easy to follow without omitting a step or an ingredient. There is also a complete grocery list after each chapter, as well as a metric conversion chart.
