  • Cauliflower soup

      A simple recipe from basic ingredients, used a few bits of tired cauliflower from the fridge veg drawer in my soup maker and made 4 portions from a few things. Haven't used a Cranks soup recipe for years so glad to have rediscovered it!

  • Cranks nut roast

      Really easy (I used mixed chopped nuts) and lovely strong flavour given the ingredients are so simple. Quite salty. Could form into different shapes for other "meat" replacements - I might try balls or sausages. Much less faff than some of the more modern nut roasts I have tried and on my frequent rotation.

      I’ve used this recipe for 30+ years and it never disappoints. Quick and easy and also great used cold in wraps/sandwiches.
