    These turned out just right. I did add 1 TBL of whisky to the filling Would try 2 TBl next time. The cream cheese pastry is great too. Instead of rolling it into a rectangle, I rolled it into a circle and used an appropriate size circular cutter from my set of graduated cutters I've used for biscuits. This worked well.

    Ingredients Note: the recipe does not have any cinnamon, walnuts, or golden raisins. It does have eggs, brown sugar, butter, and pecans. Requires recipe of Cream Cheese pastry p. 175. Cream cheese pastry: unsalted butter room temp, cream cheese room temp, flour, salt confectioner's sugar. * 1/4 cup flour is used for rolling--not to add into the dough when combining.
