Double chocolate muffins from Good Housekeeping UK

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Notes about this recipe

These are actually triple chocolate - melted chocolate, cocoa powder and chopped chocolate. I didn't have any white chocolate so I used what I had - 160g of 85% cocoa solids for the chocolate chunks, and I used half natural yoghurt and half sour cream. Very, very good.

These turned out great - recipe said it made 12 but I divided into 8 large cases and cooked for about 30 mins. Perfect texture (ensure very minimal mixing) - just like Starbucks muffins. Will add slightly more cocoa at the expense of flour next time - maybe 50g instead of 40g as I only used Bournville chocolate instead of the stronger, higher cocoa solids % type of chocolate to melt. Will use this recipe as basis for future muffin recipes as beats all the others I've tried (a fair few)
