    I wasn't thrilled with this potica but recognize some of the problem may have been on my end. First, my dough didn't seem to rise very well but that could have been my yeast. Second, the filling was much too watery. When my relatives make potica it has a thick walnut filling and I didn't get that here. The filling spilled out as I rolled the potica, making a mess. Once I baked this, it was fine but not great. I'll probably seek another recipe for my next try.
