Warm apricots with orange blossom and pistachios from The Kitchen Diaries I: A Year in the Kitchen with Nigel Slater (page 200) by Nigel Slater

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

This can be served with sheep's milk yogurt. You can use honey instead of orange blossom water.

Made with substandard nectarines. Baked at 350 (shared oven with nectarine cake) for 35 minutes. Flavour of orange blossom was lost - perhaps it should be added after baking. This method was more like steaming than roasting...flavour wasn't intensified but more like that of the fresh fruit. Nice firm texture.

Making the best of apricots that are not completely ripe by roasting them with a little bit of orange blossom water. Very pleasant. Photo here: http://forums.egullet.org/topic/143987-your-daily-sweets-what-are-you-making-and-baking-2012/?p=1923220
