London broil with chimichurri sauce from Keepers: Two Home Cooks Share Their Tried-and-True Weeknight Recipes and the Secrets to Happiness in the Kitchen (page 75) by Kathy Brennan and Caroline Campion

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Notes about this recipe

I agree with the previous notes that the marinade did not really impact the flavor of the London broil. Perhaps 2-3 hours would make a difference. Since the marinade was used with beef, I was not concerned with using it in the chimichurri sauce, which bumped the flavor up a bunch. A bit garlicky, but it was good. We liked the chimichurri sauce. With the sweetness of the honey we thought it has a broad array of uses. The London broil is another matter. We have not cooked London broil for years. The broiler method is not a bad method, but the meat is just too lean. I'll likely start a thread to see if there are secrets to be had cooking London broil. What is leftover is going to be sliced super thin for a Philly cheese-steak, or something similar.

Using a blender to make the chimichurri sauce was time consuming and a hassle. The sauce overpowers the flavor of the marinade.

The marinade didn't add much to the london broil over plain s&p, which is easier. As for the chimichurri, I messed up the proportions when halving the recipe, but setting that aside, I didn't like the honey. It was all fine, but not worth repeating.
