    p. 64 – This was fine but nothing special. The porcini broth/wine/broth mixture was inadequate so I had to add water to finish the risotto. Also, the flavours were rather bland for my palate. I think the recipe would benefit from some herbs, thyme perhaps. As it was I added a couple of handfuls of freshly micro planed parmesan to perk things up. With so many better renditions of this dish out there, I won’t be repeating this recipe. A first for a Donna Hay recipe in my kitchen.
