    The pancakes were tender, but slightly dense. The spices were prominent, but not the pumpkin. I appreciate that they use whole wheat flour and egg whites, but these aren't my favorite pumpkin pancakes. I omitted the nuts and made them slightly larger to yield 9 pancakes. Ingredients list 2 Tbsp maple syrup, but instructions just call for 1 Tbsp; I used 1 Tbsp.
