Chickpea poppers from Vegan Indian Cooking: 140 Simple and Healthy Vegan Recipes by Anupy Singla

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

She has added this to her online recipe - it is a simpler version to the popper sala (chana chaat) in the same book: "Make an easy chaat with these poppers. With one cup of cooked chickpeas, add chopped onion, tomato, cilantro, lemon juice and a pinch of kala namak. Top it off with tamarind chutney. Serve it all on individual lettuce leaves for a fun variation on a salad." Also, a commenter says "Also try soaking overnight and sprouting for 10-12 hours and do the baking part and skip the cook part!"

Yum yum. A great snack on a Saturday afternoon. Quite addictive.
