    I like the coconut addition. I used unsweetened coconut flakes instead of sweetened & since the macadamia nuts were salted, I used kosher Diamond Crystal instead of regular. I didn’t pack the brown sugar down to measure it, since it seemed like a lot of sugar, & it was definitely still on the sweet side. I wasn’t sure what temperature to cook it at, but since I wanted smaller crunchier cookies, I used 350F. Nice cookies that can be adjusted to taste. They puffed up & didn’t deflate like some chocolate chip cookies do.
