Can substitute grappa or Port wine for brandy.

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Tempted by the cover picture of this book, we decided to feature a cheese course at our June 2024 Supper Club. This proved to be a great decision. We did a group outing to the Beverly Hills Cheese Shop to select our 5 cheeses, and we served them with a variety of accompaniments, including this recipe. Judy does a great job with the cheese section of her book (no surprise there). We made the drunken raisins with golden raisins and a bottle of Trahan dessert wine (port) from Susan's cellar. Absolutely delicious and drinking the liquid is part of the joy of making this recipe.
