    Last strawberries at fm, latest ever due to long cool spring. Small & tedious to process, but worth it. Added a tsp of balsamic vinegar after taking it off the heat.

    Absolutely gorgeous - using strawberry jam instead of sugar adds a lot of depth to the flavour. I used a high-fruit (70%) strawberry jam and it was just wonderful.
