Tagine of lamb with chickpeas, apricots, saffron & honey from Grains: The Definitive Guide to Cooking Grains, Seeds and Legumes by Molly Brown

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Can substitute dried sour cherries for dried barberries, chicken stock for lamb stock, and almonds for pistachio nuts.

A very tasty tagine. I initially held back on the quantity of honey, fearing that it might be too sweet, however, it actually works against the sourness of the dried fruits.
