Salted chocolate pistachio cake from The Recipe Wheel: 120 Recipe Ideas from 10 Inspirational Wheels by Rosie Ramsden

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

A dessert for grown ups rather than an afternoon tea, Very good, a great success as everyone wanted seconds. Very rich, serve with creme fraiche as it definitely needs the acidity/wetness to contrast the richness. I found one listed ingredient slightly ambiguous "200g plain and milk chocolate", as I wasn't 100% sure if that meant 200 plain plus 200 milk, or 200g in total that was a mix of the two. I made it with 200g of 52% dark chocolate by Callebaut (a Belgian gluten free chocolate as I was catering for a coeliac). It took longer to cook than the recipe stated and I had to cover it with paper so it didn't catch at the end. It is a very solid cake so it does take a while to cool, but it did not crack or fall during cooling. Recipe is definitely a keeper.
