Asian fish in a packet from Moosewood Restaurant Cooks at Home: Fast and Easy Recipes for Any Day (page 244) by Moosewood Collective

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Thanks to Wlow for drawing my attention to this recipe. I used BC black cod from Fisherfolk (an excellent black cod) and also increased the rice quite a bit. I used brown rice as that’s what I had on hand. I had Ontario bok choy and that worked great with the stated oven temp and timing of 20 min. At that point the cod was perfectly cooked and the rice was getting toasty. This was really delicious. Will def repeat.

3/2020 Great. Used salmon, doubled amount of rice (1 C rice per packet), Asian mustard greens (try bok choy), partial fish sauce in place of soy sauce. In future try toaster oven or baking more things in big oven to make good use of energy. 4/2026 bok choy very good, as are sliced fresh shiitake. Used all tamari no fish sauce.
