Grandma Mary's Grand Marnier orange cake from The Pollan Family Table: The Best Recipes and Kitchen Wisdom for Delicious, Healthy Family Meals by Corky Pollan and Lori Pollan and Dana Pollan and Tracy Pollan

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Notes about this recipe

The cake is delicious and moist. It is more of a breakfast/brunch cake than a dessert cake. The batter was thick and heavy with only eggs and Greek yogurt as liquid. I found it difficult to gently fold in the egg whites. That may be why my cake didn’t rise to the height of the Bundt pan and was a heavier denser cake. The orange flavor is nice and not over powering. I would make it again for a brunch cake, but not for dessert.
