Mie goreng with Asian greens from Community: Salad Recipes from Arthur Street Kitchen (page 167) by Hetty Lui McKinnon

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Notes about this recipe

  • Eat Your Books

Can substitute thick rice noodles for fresh egg noodles, and Asian greens for choy sum.

We just used a store bought Thai yellow curry paste for the paste and it was great. Added lots of veggies of various kinds and some thinly sliced duck breast for protein. Noodles were packet Singapore egg noodles. Perhaps a fried egg on top would be good too for extra protein.
