    I was looking for a porridge with quinoa, and selected this recipe. Since I didn’t have the Ottolenghi ingredients, I made several substitutions…I used regular white quinoa, maple syrup for the date molasses, and hemp hearts since I didn’t have pistachios. Very nice, even with the changes. I might try this with the overnight method and also will omit sugar in the mix. I made 1/2 the recipe and it made enough for 3-4 small servings. Edited to add: this held very well in the fridge and reheated nicely. Will make again without sugar.
