    I've made this a couple times as a gift for a jerky lover. Depending on how thinly you slice the beef, the oven time has ranged from 3 to 5 hours. The only time this recipe hasn't worked was when I overcooked the beef, resulting in the thinner pieces becoming almost crispy.
