Sautéed green beans with summer corn from Lighten Up, Y'all: Classic Southern Recipes Made Healthy and Wholesome (page 61) by Virginia Willis

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Pg. 61. Loved this recipe! Followed everything as VA wrote it and the finished dish was a pure, clean, fresh tasting plate of Summer. Brilliant use of basil here.

I served this as a side for a dinner of loaded baked potatoes. I cooked some bacon to crumble on the potatoes and then sauteed the corn and green beans in ~ 1 Tablespoon of the bacon fat. It was a simple and delicious dish. I also did not have any fresh basil so just used salt and freshly ground pepper.
