    I had left over roast beef that needing using and so came here. This starts with broth (and I did have/use some lovely broths saved from making various roasts & ribs stashed in the freezer) which is simmered with some big flavour add-ins. I added a few extra green veg (celery, green pepper & peas) to the spinach and scallions but I skipped the bean sprouts at the end. With egg noodles (this time) I have made a very tasty broth based soup which came together surprisingly quickly.
