Breakfast banana bread with cardamom and cocoa nibs from Simply Nigella: Feel Good Food (page 356) by Nigella Lawson

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Easy to make and not too sweet, plus I love cardamom and the cocoa nibs in it. I ended up with a huge loaf and needed to bake it for longer than stated (10-15 minutes longer), during which time I upped the temperature from 150C fan to 170C fan because it looked pale and underbaked. Came out perfectly in the end.

This is so easy to make and it's perfect for a lazy Sunday breakfast spread. I made this for overnight guests and everyone loved it toasted with butter. It's not very sweet but still moist and moreish. The nibs added a little crunch and it was nice to know they are supposed to be healthy. I will definitely make this again!

Really delicious and so easy to make. I’ve tried it all ways and Nigella is right - toasted with butter is the way forward!

Everyone loves this banana bread, so I always double the recipe and make two gigantic loaves. The cardamom is delicious, but I have never made it with cocoa nibs as I'm not a fan.

We loved this banana bread, which is a bit difference from others I've tried due to the addition of cardamom and cocoa nibs. Will definitely make this again. I increased the sugar to one and a half cups. It's also very easy -mixed everything in my processor. It comes together in minutes.
