Chocolate-almond situation from Zahav: A World of Israeli Cooking (page 343) by Michael Solomonov and Steven Cook

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Excellent. This is rich like a flourless cake, but the almond flour gives it a texture somewhat similar to a brownie. The edges are crisp. And you can pick up a piece to eat if you want. It didn't take long to put together and only 25 minutes to bake. A winner all around. I was contemplating 70% cacao chocolate, but I tried 60% Ghirardelli. And that's as high as I would go with this. I think 70% would be too much. I don't think I could eat more than 1 ounce.
