Chinese salad from The Complete Asian Cookbook by Charmaine Solomon

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Notes about this recipe

I made the dressing only to go with a standard green salad, lettuce leaf mix from Coles, tomatoes, spring onion and coriander (cilantro). I didn’t add in the sesame oil as I had already made a salad containing it and didn’t want two similar salads at the same meal. I wasn’t thrilled with it and was going to tip it down the sink, but husband said keep it. The guests liked it, and would have it again, but thought it needed a bit more complexity in the flavour, which is probably what the sesame oil would have done. Worth trying again. Next time I will decrease the peanut oil.
