Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    I used bacon grease to coat the pan and added 1 tsp dry mustard to the batter. The sausages cooked perfectly, but floated to the top of the batter - not sure why I was expecting them to remain more embedded in the batter. The batter rose nicely, but tasted a little bland. I'd add more salt next time. I served this with the onion gravy from the Saveur recipe, which was delicious and definitely added a lot of flavor.
