Rhubarb and custard macarons from Afternoon Tea at Home: Deliciously Indulgent Recipes for Sandwiches, Savouries, Scones, Cakes and Other Fancies (page 152) by Will Torrent

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Can use the book's "Rhubarb jam".

These were the best macarons I have made. I didn't use his macron recipe as I have a recipe already I find works well. But I loved the combination of a custard flavored buttercream with a sharp rhubarb jam/jelly in the center. They also looked very pretty. The batter was rather bright pink when I made it but that tempered down to a lovely shade after baking.
