Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    This is a definite winner! Made it with black forest ham and extra sharp Cheddar on homemade sourdough bread. The rosemary butter and apple mustard really elevate the sandwich. Served it with homemade caramelized onion tomato soup made with heirloom tomatoes from our farmers market. Will make the breakfast piglet grilled cheese recipe in the book in the future, which is essentially the same sandwich plus a fried egg.

    Pretty simple but tasty grilled cheese. Mustard added an interesting but tasty flavor, and the subtlety of the rosemary butter added a lot of taste as well.

    We subbed bacon in for the ham. Overall We liked this, though the mustard was the most prevalent flavor (which I am fine with). Will make again.
