Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

I used a variety of apples so that it wouldn't be too sweet or too tart. The amount of sugar called for in the recipe was the perfect amount for my taste. I didn't have to add extra after pureeing the apples. The recipe provided helpful, detailed instructions to can the applesauce for long term storage for those new to the process.
