Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    Made a vegetarian version of this, together with a buttermilk ranch dressing from another recipe, turned out great and is a good one to prep ahead before guests arrive. Only the crispy fried onions didn't quite turn out as stated, we found we had to use a huge amount of oil, plus ended up with a lot of burnt flour in the pan.
