Chestnut flour crêpes with chocolate (Crêpes à la farine de chataîgne et au chocolat) from My French Family Table: Recipes for a Life Filled with Food, Love, and Joie de Vivre (page 154) by Béatrice Peltre

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Lovely crepes, and very easy to make using a mixing method that eliminates the lumps easily. Rather than returning each crepe to the pan to coat in caramelized sugar, I filled them with chocolate, sprinkled them with sugar then popped them under the broiler just before serving. A perfect fall dessert served with roasted pears and creme fraiche.
