Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    This version of a Hanky Panky was a little too strong on the Fernet Branca for my taste. I think we also made a tactical error of using a pretty botanical gin (Aviation) rather than something smoother.
